Register to become a Cornea Donor
As an organ, tissue, and cornea donor, you could save or improve the quality of life for more than 50 others who suffer from organ failure, bone defects, heart defects, burns, or blindness. Visit the Living Legacy Registry website to learn more or to register your wishes. Washington and Montana residents can sign up there via an online form. Idaho residents may register at the Idaho Donor Registry, and Alaska residents may register at the Alaska Donor Registry. All three sites enable residents to select what individual organs and/or tissues they prefer to donate.
If you decide to become an organ/tissue donor, remember to tell your family. Many donor families tell us that knowing of this wish and seeing it honored helped to steer them from loss and grief to memory of the donor’s generous spirit.
